the clinical observation of relation between lung function and acute radiation lung injury in 81 patients with Thorax Tumor
Journal of Xinjiang Medical University, 2006Co-Authors: Zhang JinrongAbstract:Objective: To investigate the relationship between foundation lung function and acute radiation lung injury in post radiation.Methods: Normal regulations examines foundation lung function of 81 patients with Thorax Tumor before radiotherapy,then divided into two groups: one is the normal foundation lung function(51 cases),another is the abnormal (30 cases).The two groups treated with three dimensional conformal radiotherapy(3DCRT) or intensity modulated radiotherapy(IMRT) and compared on the occurrence of acute radiation lung injury in the two groups after the radiotherapy.Results: The occurrence rate of acute radiation lung injury was 21% in the 81 cases.The occurrence rate of acute radiation lung injury was 9.8%(5/51) in normal group,and 40.0%(12/30) in the abnormal group.The difference between groups had significant(P0.005).Conclusions:The foundation lung function of patients before radiotherapy relate with acute radiation lung injury.Abnormal foundation lung function may be dangerous factor for acute radiation lung injury.

On Seimens 128 Slice plane there are standard settings for lung window Thorax is with Window Width 2200 HU and Window Level -200 HU while according to window width theory is 1000- 2000 HU value range and window level -200--800 HU. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of variation setting Window Width and Window Level on Lung Window and Window Width and Window Level optimum in producing anatomical information CT scan thoraks in case of lung Tumor. Method : The type of research conducted in the writing of this final task is quantitative research using experimental approach. Data were collected on 5 patients suspected of lung Tumor, then variation of setting window width and window level. The result of variation of window width and window level setting was then evaluated by 2 observers to obtain anatomical information of CT Scan Thorax in lung Tumor case then analyzed by using Friedman Test different from spss version 16.0. Result : The result of the research resulted the difference of Window Width and Window Level was assessed from p value

radiation induced acute lung injury in three dimensional conformal radiotherapy for Thorax Tumor
Chinese Journal of Cancer Prevention and Treatment, 2008Co-Authors: Wang JuwuAbstract:OBJECTIVE:To investigate the relationship between dose volume,clinical state,transforming growth factor bata1(TGF-β1)and acute post-irradiation lung injury in Thorax Tumor treated with three dimensional conformal radiotherapy(3-DCRT),in order to predict the acute post-irradiation lung injury and optimize the radiotherapy regimen.METHODS:In 84 patients with acnte post-irradiation lung injury in Thorax Tumor treated with 3-DCRT,the clinical and dose-volume histograms(DVH)data were collected and their plasma TGF-β1 levels of pre-RT were tested and post-RT with ELISA.Logistic regression was used to test their relativities.RESULTS:According to the RTOG criteria,acute post-irradiation lung injury was observed in 19 cases(22.62%),with 8 in grade Ⅰ,5 in grade Ⅱ,5 in grade Ⅲ,1 in grade Ⅳ.The foundation lung function,lung V20,chemotherapy,increase of plasma TGF-β1 level of pre-RT and post-RT were significantly correlated with acute post-irradiation injury(P0.05).The levels of plasma TGF-β1 in post-RT were lower than those in pre-RT.Multilogistic regression analysis showed that the foundation lung function(OR=3.945)and lung V20(OR=3.094)were the independent factors for acute radiation lung injury.CONCLUSIONS:The foundation lung function and lung V20 are significantly associated with the acute post-irradiation lung injury in Thorax Tumor treated with 3-DCRT.These factors should be given special consideration when planning the treatment for Thorax Tumor.A trend of the increase of plasma TGF-β1 concentration is not consistent enough to predicting acute post-irradiation lung injury.

clinical application value of dual source dual energy ct scanning technology for Tumor of Thorax
肿瘤研究与临床, 2013Co-Authors: W U Zhifeng, W U Shan, Gang Wang, Tengwei Zhang, Yu ZhangAbstract:Objective To investigate the clinical applications of dual-source dual-energy CT and dual-energy virtual unenhanced iodine distribution technology in thoracic Tumor scans.Methods CT and clinical data of 58 cases of patients with Thorax Tumor were analyzed.The quality score,the noise,the average lesion CT values and radiation dose were compared between dual-energy group virtual unenhanced and conventional unenhanced image.The lesion benign and malignant differential diagnosis by strengthen the distribution of iodine value in dual-energy group and strengthen the value of manual measurement in conventional CT group were compared.Results The quality scores in virtual unenhanced and conventional unenhanced image were (4.62±0.52) and (4.71±0.46) points (t =2.319,P > 0.05).The noise in virtual unenhanced images and conventional unenhanced image were (8.10±1.16) and (7.30±1.06) HU (t =5.246,P< 0.05).The effective dose in virtual unenhanced and in conventional plain were (5.18±0.96) and (5.55±1.18) mSv (t =4.005,P < 0.05).CT value distribution of iodine was correlated with enhanced CT values.Conclusions The virtual unenhanced images can show well lung disease,which meet the diagnostic requirements and may be instead of the conventional plain chest potential value.Dual-energy iodine distribution of lesions can observe blood supply more directly and more sensitively,can quantityze expression of the extent of the lesions enhanced to provide richer information for clinical diagnosis of Tumor lesions.
