    Abstract:

    Abstract The vacuum Ultraviolet Absorption spectrum of CO 2 shifts significantly to longer wavelengths with increasing temperature. We have measured this temperature dependence and present Absorption cross sections for 230 to 355 nm at temperatures from 1523 to 2273 K. At 2273 K this red shift extends the Absorption above 300 nm and well into the blue end of the solar spectrum. In CO 2 the thermal shift is enhanced because of the relative position and shapes of the excited and ground state potential curves.

    Abstract:

    Ultraviolet Absorption spectroscopy has been employed to measure the density of CF2 in a high‐density discharge used for the selective etching of silicon dioxide relative to silicon films. In a plasma containing C2F4H2 and CF4, CF2 accounts for more than 10% of the gas in the reactor. The level of CF2 in the discharge is strongly dependent on the operating pressure and the applied power. A comparison of the intensity of optical emission from CF*2 with the Ultraviolet Absorption signal and microwave interferometry measurements shows that the optical emission signal is limited more by the electron density than by the availability of ground state CF2. The UV Absorption signal for CF2 closely follows the selectivity of etching SiO2 to silicon. Both neutral fluorocarbon fragments and ions are believed to play a role in the deposition of fluorocarbon films which give rise to this selectivity.     [Objective]To study the influence of methyl esterification on the Ultraviolet Absorption ofγ-linolenic acid.[Method]To measure the Ultraviolet Absorption value of someγ-linolenic acid products by Ultraviolet spectrophotometry before and after methyl esterification.And using gas chromatographic method to detect the content ofγ-linolenic Acid.Then a correlation analysis of the results was done. [Result] The Ultraviolet Absorption value of γ-linolenic acid before methyl esterification was very significantly correlated with that after methyl esterification(P0.01).[Conclusion]It was feasible to measure the Ultraviolet Absorption value of polyunsaturated fatty acids(such asγ-linolenic acid) without methyl esterification.
