  • determination of measures of counteraction to the social oriented risks of Virtual Community life cycle organization
Conference on Computer Science and Information Technologies, 2019
    Co-Authors: Olha Trach, Solomia Fedushko
    Abstract:

The article identifies socially-oriented risks in the life cycle organizing of the Virtual Community. Namely: the appearance of a negative audience; reducing the quality of information content; anti-legal materials and Community activities; loss of Community control. The indicators of the Community’s entry into the area of socially-oriented risks for effective and successful management of the Virtual Community are determined. The algorithm of determination of level of intensity of measures of counteraction to socially-oriented risks is developed, based on the analysis of socially-oriented risks of the Virtual Community, which, unlike existing ones, are inherent to Virtual communities only. That made it possible to increase the efficiency of creating a Virtual Community and to improve the functioning of the operation throughout its existence, ensuring achievement of goals and development of the Virtual Community. The result of the implementation of the algorithm is the classification of the risk indicator for: high, medium and low levels. Measures to counteract socially-oriented risks will help predict and structurally create and manage the Community and improve the overall process of creating a Virtual Community.

  • the computer linguistic analysis of socio demographic profile of Virtual Community member
    arXiv: Computers and Society, 2019
    Co-Authors: Yuriy Syerov, Solomia Fedushko
    Abstract:

This article considers the current problem of investigation and development of computerlinguistic analysis of socio-demographic profile of Virtual Community member. Webmembers' socio-demographic characteristics' profile validation based on analysis of sociodemographic characteristics. The topicality of the paper is determined by the necessity to identify the web-Community member by means of computer-linguistic analysis of their information track. The formal model of basic socio-demographic characteristics of Virtual communities' member is formed. The structural model of lingvo-communicative indicators of socio-demographic characteristics of the web-members and common algorithm of the formation of lingvo-communicative indicators based on processing training sample are developed. Types of the computer-linguistic analysis of indicative characteristics are studied and classifications of lingvo-communicative indicators of gender, age and sphere of activities of web-Community member is established. Also, the formal model of the basic socio-demographic characteristics of web-communities' member is introduced.

  • development of verification system of socio demographic data of Virtual Community member
    arXiv: Computers and Society, 2019
    Co-Authors: Solomia Fedushko
    Abstract:

The important task of developing verification system of data of Virtual Community member on the basis of computer-linguistic analysis of the content of a large sample of Ukrainian Virtual communities is solved. The subject of research is methods and tools for verification of web-members socio-demographic characteristics based on computer-linguistic analysis of their communicative interaction results. The aim of paper is to verifying web-user personal data on the basis of computer-linguistic analysis of web-members information tracks. The structure of verification software for web-user profile is designed for a practical implementation of assigned tasks. The method of personal data verification of web-members by analyzing information track of Virtual Community member is conducted. For the first time the method for checking the authenticity of web members personal data, which helped to design of verification tool for socio-demographic characteristics of web-member is developed. The verification system of data of web-members, which forms the verified socio-demographic profiles of web-members, is developed as a result of conducted experiments. Also the user interface of the developed verification system web-members data is presented. Effectiveness and efficiency of use of the developed methods and means for solving tasks in web-communities administration is proved by their approbation. The number of false results of verification system is 18%.

  • development of software complex of Virtual Community life cycle organization
International Journal of Computer Science and Business Informatics, 2017
    Co-Authors: Olha Trach, Solomia Fedushko
    Abstract:

This paper presents development of software complex of Virtual Community life cycle organization. The investigations stages and directions of Virtual Community life cycle, introduction of indicators of tasks directions of Virtual Community life cycle organization, determination of criticality of indicators of Virtual Community life cycle organization,  definition of socially-oriented risk of Virtual Community life cycle are enabled to develop a software complex of Virtual Community life cycle organization. Software complex of Virtual Community life cycle organization consists of three levels: management level, level of performance, level of databases and information resources. The software tool «Virtual Community life cycle organization», which is an important and actual task, because is the basis for improving the efficiency of create Virtual Community and improving the functioning throughout its existence, the attainment of the objectives and the development of Virtual communities based on software complex of Virtual Community life cycle organization are developed in this studies.

  • development of a software for computer linguistic verification of socio demographic profile of web Community member
    Webology, 2014
    Co-Authors: Solomia Fedushko
    Abstract:

This article considers the current important scientific and applied problem of socio-demographic characteristics validation of Virtual Community members by computer-linguistic analysis of web-Community members' information track. A systematic analysis of the web-members information content and the research of the web-communication specificity of each socio-demographic characteristics value by Virtual Community content validation for further modeling socio-demographic profiles of web-members are realized. Mathematical models of basic Virtual Community member socio-demographic characteristics for creating a socio-demographic profile of Virtual Community member are generated. The method of registration and validation of Virtual Community member's personal data by checking the maximum amount of Virtual Community member's data for improving the quality of content and methods of Virtual Community management is developed. The software for socio-demographic characteristics verification of web-Community member, "Socio-demographic profile verifier", is developed, by forming socio-demographic profile of Virtual Community member that is based on the system building information model of socio-demographic profile of Virtual Community member for the automation of the verification process of web-custom content.

  • a profile based multimedia sharing scheme with Virtual Community based on personal space in a ubiquitous computing environment
    IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, 2009
Co-Authors: Chungpyo Hong, Eohyung Lee, Charles C Weems, Shindug Kim
    Abstract:

For ubiquitous computing environments, an important parameter is whether all the components in the specific environment can connect with one another. Given this capability, we can share various kinds of content across mobile terminals. This paper introduces an effective scheme to manage multimedia sharing based on specially designed profiles and a Virtual Community. A Virtual Community is defined as any specific group of users connected for a common interest. Specifically the proposed scheme consists of two layers, i.e., a Community construction layer and a multimedia sharing layer, based on personal spaces, which are responsible for constructing and managing the multimedia sharing Community. The Community construction layer, which is designed to be run on the mobile terminals, provides an effective way to find Community members simultaneously, based on specially designed profiles, such as a user profile and an abstract profile. The multimedia sharing layer is responsible for sharing multimedia content, and is constructed as a specially designed scheme based on locality. The proposed scheme provides an effective multimedia sharing mechanism within a Community. Simulation results show that the number of messages and the time required for Community member discovery is reduced by 32% and 73%, respectively, in comparison with the conventional DHT-based scheme. The approach also reduces the time to exchange content by 50% with respect to the same baseline.
