    Abstract:

    Based on the studies of the origin of continental intermediate-acid Volcanic magmas, the original uranium content in the magmas, the evolution of magmas and the late re-model of Volcanic Rocks, the mechanism of uranium concentration towards hydrothermal fluid and volatile components is suggested. A formula to calculate comprehensive uranium-bearing capability and a quantitative evaluating model of Volcanic Rock basins are proposed. By using above method, superior uranium-bearing basins can be selected from a large quantity of Volcanic Rock basins. The verification of correctness for this method has been proved, and the result is in good agreement with the uranium mineralization in the known regions. Two first class prospective basins have been selected from 16 Volcanic Rock basins in the southeast China. These reduce the number of target area and the results are satisfactory.

    Abstract:

    It has been proved by practice of exploration that the Carboniferous System in the Junggar Basin is a set of prospective strata of actual exploring.The carboniferous Volcanic Rock has a large scale and a wide distribution in the Ludong-Wucaiwan area,and is an important reservoir Rock of gas.The availability of Volcanic reservoir Rock is mainly influenced by unconformity,lithology and lithofacies control.Hence,the key to judge the availability of reservoir are to identify Volcanic architecture,Volcanic Rock lithology and lithofacies.The major bed of interest called Batamayineishan Formation has a special triple architecture of Volcanic Rock sequence,which facilitates the identification of Volcanic Rock lithology and lithofacies through logging and seismic geophysical prospecting.Basic lavas have the features of high density,high resistivity and high electrical properties of natural gamma.Intermediate basic lavas are similar to basic lavas,but they have low electrical properties of natural gamma.On the contrary,Volcanic breccia facies have a low resistivity and medium to low density,but have high electrical properties of natural gamma.Similarly,tuff,whose density is lower,also have the features like Volcanic breccia.In addition,intermediate acid lavas have the features between the two extremes,with slightly high electrical properties of natural gamma.The upper segment and the lower segment which are Volcanic Rocks show the discontinuous mounded reflection or chaotic refection,but the middle segment which is sedimentary Rock displays stronger amplitude and more continuous parallel and sub-parallel reflection.According to the characters of composite wave reflection configuration,it is possible to identify three Volcanic Rock architectures which are layered volcano,konide and hypabyssal intrusive,respectively.Volcanic Rock reservoirs all belong to the type of weathering crust reservoirs and the reservoir availabilities are controlled by lithology and lithofacies.The sub-facies nearby the Volcanic vents mainly develop in the Dinan bulge zone, Dibei bulge zone,Shixi-Shinan bulge zone,the south and north margins of Wucaiwan Sag and the north of Baijiahai.Most of the sub-facies which are far away from Volcanic vents develop on the east and west sides of sub-facies after the volcano explode.Effluence facies mainly distribute in South-North major faults.The weathering crust reservoirs which are coupled with nearby structures,lithology and lithofacies,are the best to form the oil/gas reservoir,which form the stratigraphy-lithology origin Volcanic Rock gas reservoirs in the tectonic settings.

    Abstract:

    Carboniferous Volcanic Rock developed in the translating period from ocean basin to continental basin in Carboniferous-Early Permian.There are two types of tectonic setting Volcanic Rock:Collision and post-collision extending stage Volcanic Rock,and they are distributed in western Junggar,eastern Junggar and southern Junggar around the orogenic belt.Lower Carboniferous Volcanic Rock was oceanic basaltic,representing continental margin tectonic setting in collision stage.Upper Carboniferous was marine-continental transitional facies intermediate-acid Volcanic Rock,representing passive continental margin tectonic setting.Lower Permian was continental basaltic and intermediate-acid Volcanic Rock.Carboniferous Volcanic Rock in western Junggar was composited by basaltic and intermediate-acid Volcanic Rock,showing the character of convergence island arc transitional crust.Carboniferous Volcanic Rock in eastern Junggar was an assemblage of basic and intermediate-acid,representing early island arc extrusion stage and late intraplate extension stage.Carboniferous Volcanic Rock in southern Junggar in the front of the Bogda Mountain displays a typical rift environment. The Permian Volcanic Rock mainly distributed in western Junggar,having the characteristics of post-collision stage intraplate extension tectonic setting.It showed the tectonic evolution sequence was:Kelameili remnant ocean basin closed and uplifted in the first in eastern Junggar,Daerbute remnant ocean basin in the next western Junggar,northern Tianshan Ocean closed lastly.The reservoir formation of Carboniferous and Permian Volcanic Rock was mainly controlled by Carboniferous hydrocarbon source Rock.Favorable pool-forming area was surrounded effective source Rock.Late Carboniferous extension rift was a potential of hydrocarbon accumulation.

    The Volcanic Rock distributes extensively and there are vital uranium deposits of volcanite type occurs in the Gan-Hang tectonic belts .There are 51 uranium deposits of volcanite type occurring in the Gan-Hang tectonic belts. This paper classified Mesozoic Volcanic Rock facies in Zhegan,explicits their characteristics ,then divides relevently subVolcanic facies to the uranium deposits of subVolcanic Rock type, Volcanic conduit facies to the uranium deposits of Volcanic breccia chimney type,Volcanic intrusion facies and extrusion subfacies of Volcanic extrusion facies to the uranium deposits of Volcanic lava type,explosive subfacies of Volcanic extrusion facies to the uranium deposits of Volcaniclastic Rock type,extrusion-sedimentary facies to the uranium deposits of sedimentary Volcaniclastic Rock type.This paper announces the study of relationship of Volcanic facies and uranium deposit types and the study of Volcanic facies and its corresponding uranium deposits ,have great importance for the guide in prospecting and exploration of volcanite type uranium deposits.
