  • Significance of megakaryocytes enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay in myelodysplastic syndrome
    Clinical Medicine, 2020
    Co-Authors: Wu Xifeng
    Abstract:

Objective To investigate the significance of micromegakaryocytes enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay in differential diagnosis of anaemia. Methods Bone marrow smears of 56 patients myelodysplastic syndrome, were assayed by APAAP technique and Wrights Stain, respectively. The amount of megakaryocytes and the amount and type of micromegakaryocytes were analyzed. Results The average amount and the positive rate of megakaryocytes assayed by APAAP technique was higher than that assayed by Wrights Stain. The difference was satistically significant. Conclusion APAAP technique is much better than Wrights Stain in detecting micromegakaryocytes.APAAP technique is an important method to diagnose myelodysplastic syndrome.

  • The significance of micromegakaryocytes enzyme linked immunoa-bsorbent assay in differential diagnosis of anemia
    Journal of Clinical Hematology, 2020
    Co-Authors: Chen Bing
    Abstract:

Objective:To investigate the significance of micromegakaryocytes enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay in differential diagnosis of anaemia. Method:Bone marrow smears of 123 patients with anemia, including 26 cases myelodysplastic syndrome, 20 cases iron deficiency anemia, 10 cases megaloblastic anemia, 18 cases hemolyt-ic anemia, 21 cases multiple myeloma, 9 cases myelofibrosis, 7 cases renal anemia, 3 cases pure red cell aplastic a-nemia, 5 cases anemia of chronic disease,4 cases chronic aplastic anemia, were assayed by APAAP technique and Wrights Stain, respectively. The amount of megakaryocytes and the amount and type of micromegakaryocytes were analyzed. Result: The averge amount and the positive rate of megakaryocytes assayed by APAAP technique was higher than that assayed by Wright's Stain. The difference was satistically significant. Conclusion: APAAP technique is much better than Wrighfs Stain in detecting micromegakaryocytes. APAAP technique is an important method to diagnose the type of anemia.
