    Abstract:

    The Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is spatially distributed autonomous sensor to sense special task. WSN like Zigbee network forms simple interconnecting, low power, and low processing capability wireless devices. The Zigbee devices facilitate numerous applications such as pervasive computing, security monitoring and control. Zigbee end devices collect sensing data and send them to Zigbee Coordinator. The Coordinator processes end device requests. The effect of a large number of random unsynchronized requests may degrade the overall network performance. An effective technique is particularly needed for synchronizing available node’s request processing to design a reliable Zigbee network. In this paper, region based priority mechanism is implemented to synchronize request with Tree Routing Method. Riverbed is used to simulate and analyze overall Zigbee network performance. The results show that the performance of the overall priority based Zigbee network model is better than without a priority based model. This research paves the way for further designing and modeling a large scale Zigbee network.

    Abstract:

    Zigbee mesh network is very important research field in computer networks. However, the location of Zigbee Coordinator plays a significant role in design and routing performance. In this paper, an extensive study on the factors that influence the performance of AODV routing protocol had been performed through the study of battery voltage decaying of nodes, neighboring tables, time delay and network topology structure. Simulation results reveal that the location of the Coordinator within approximate equal distances to all nodes is more appropriate for lifelong batteries and AODV routing performance.Comment: 7 page

    Abstract. Based on the Zigbee technology, a hand-held portable intelligent home controlled termi-nal is designed on the basis of STC12C5A60S2 MCU, and make a detailed hardware design with floor control module. Main Zigbee (Coordinator) module is connected with the handheld terminal and salved Zigbee (rounter) module communicate with the underlying chip so that lighting system, window treatments, fans system and air conditioning system are controlled. This paper focuses on designing closed-loop system by curtain and fan control systems. According to light intensity and real-time temperature, the system control brightness and temperature inside the home. The set of intelligent home model has been set up and run normally, passed the test system better able to communicate within 15m,and system is easy to use and has good practicability. Smart Home is a comprehensive use of power automation technology, network communication technology, automatic control technology, integrated home systems. Compared with traditional home, whether living comfort, convenience of work are promoted to a higher grade. Over the wire-less network to a variety of devices in the home (lighting systems, window systems, air condition-ing systems, fan systems, security systems, etc.) combine together by the terminal controller inte-grated management, in order to achieve safe, comfortable and eco-friendly living environment [1]
