    Resumo Ao considerar que o amor e o casamento estao sendo postos em xeque em nossa sociedade, na medida em que surgem novas configuracoes familiares, ou mesmo outras possibilidades de se vivenciar o sentimento amoroso, este artigo centra-se em discutir como a literatura infantil vem apresentando esses temas, a saber: como o amor romântico e a materializacao deste sentimento, atraves das relacoes que se estabelecem a partir dele, tem sido representados nos livros de literatura infantil? De que forma as relacoes de genero sao veiculadas nessas obras? Como o casamento e visto na vinculacao com as relacoes amorosas? Os resultados apontam que na maior parte das obras literarias infantis o sentimento amoroso ainda aparece associado a ideia de casamento; a mulher fica a responsabilidade da criacao dos/as filhos/as; algumas historias apresentam o amor romântico coligado a dor e a dificuldade de conquista. Tambem sao recorrentes as caracteristicas de amor a primeira vista e o empoderamento desse sentimento em transformar o outro.     Peter Pan und Alices Adventures in Wonderland sind wohl unumstritten zwei der bekanntesten und beliebtesten Kinderbücher aller Zeiten. Die beiden Romane stehen (in verschiedenen Fassungen) sowohl in den Bücherregalen von Großeltern als auch im DVD-Regal der Enkelkinder. Zusätzlich sind die Hauptpersonen der Bücher, Alice, Wendy und Peter, jedes Jahr beliebte Faschings- und Halloweenverkleidungen. Damit fällt es nicht schwer zu sagen, dass die beiden Bücher und ihre Protagonisten nicht nur einen großen kulturellen Einfluss hatten, sondern auch zu Vorbildern der jungen Leser*innen wurden. Aber: sind Alice und Peter positive Vorbilder? Vermitteln sie positive Rollenbilder oder handeln und benehmen sie sich gender-stereotyp?Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es zu zeigen, wie zwei Beispiele von Kinderliteratur, die offensichtlich stereotype Rollenbilder von Männern und Frauen vermitteln, im Unterricht genutzt werden können, um aufzuzeigen, was stereotype Rollenbilder und Vorurteile sind und wie man damit umgeht.Der theoretische Teil dieser Diplomarbeit widmet sich zunächst den Definitionen von ‚Gender‘ und ‚Childrens Literature‘ und befasst sich mit dem Gebrauch von Kinderliteratur im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Auf Basis dieser Definitionen wurden die beiden Bücher dann genauer untersucht. Somit besteht der praktische Teil der Arbeit aus einer Analyse der Protagonisten/Protagonistinnen sowie den Anweisungen für Lehrer*innen, die das nachfolgende ‚Reading Project‘ in der Klasse durchführen möchten, und dem detaillierten Material, das direkt verwendet werden kann.Die Analyse hat demonstriert, dass Alices Adventures in Wonderland zwar auf den ersten Blick wie ein moderner, feministischer Roman wirkt, der seiner Zeit weit voraus ist und in dem ein neugieriges, selbstbewusstes junges Mädchen die Hauptrolle besetzt, die Geschichte aber trotzdem ein Kind seiner Zeit geblieben ist mit vielen stereotypen Charaktereigenschaften, die einer Frau dieser Zeit zugeschrieben wurden. Andererseits sind die Charaktereigenschaften, die der Hauptperson von Peter Pan zugeschrieben werden, fortschrittlicher als ursprünglich erwartet.Peter Pan and Alices Adventures in Wonderland are two of the most popular Childrens books ever written. They have filled bookshelves of generations of people, have been made into huge franchises including movies and musicals and their characters have become popular Halloween and carnival costumes. It is fair to say that both of these books and their respective characters have become a strong influence on both popular culture and the young people who have enjoyed them. The protagonists in the stories, Peter, Wendy and Alice, have become role models - but are they positive role models? Do they behave stereotypically ‘according to their gender?The overall aim of this thesis is to show how two popular pieces of Literature that definitely display stereotypical gender roles can be used to combat prejudice and sexism. Furthermore, it shows to the students taking part in the reading project what stereotypical gender roles are and how to handle them. The theoretical part of this thesis discusses the definitions of ‘gender and ‘Childrens Literature as well as providing some input into how to use Childrens Literature in the language learning classroom. Based on these definitions, the reading project and the analysis the practical part of this thesis consists of teacher instructions, character descriptions and detailed material ready to be used in class.The analysis has demonstrated that even though Alices Adventures in Wonderland might look like a forward-thinking, ahead-of-its-time novel, featuring a brave, curious female as the main protagonist, it is a ‘child of its time and therefore quite prone to stereotypical descriptions of both females and males.     Gegenstand dieser Masterarbeit ist eine Analyse des Kinder- und Jugendfantasyromans "Herr der Diebe" (2000) von Cornelia Funke und dessen russischer Übersetzung "Korol' vorov" (2003) mit dem Ziel, die Gründe herauszufinden, warum die russische Übersetzung in Russland nicht an den internationalen Erfolg anknüpfen konnte. Dabei wird von der Hypothese ausgegangen, dass ein ähnlicher Erfolg in Russland ausblieb, da der Status von Fantasyliteratur in Russland zu deren Erscheinungszeitpunkt noch zu gering war und "Korol' vorov" anders als im deutsch- und englischsprachigen Raum keine ausreichende Mehrfachadressiertheit aufweist, sondern eher zur Kinderliteratur gezählt wird. Sprachlich einfachere Formulierungen und die bunte Aufmachung der russischen Übersetzung verstärken diese Annahme. Diese Hypothese wird mittels einer Paratextanalyse nach Gérard Genette, einer Analyse anhand der Culture-Specific Items nach Javier Franco Aixelá sowie einer Untersuchung des Status der Fantasyliteratur in Russland überprüft. Die Analyse ergab, dass die Erstveröffentlichung der russischen Übersetzung in einem reinen Kinderbuchverlag und das dadurch bunt und verspielt gestaltete Erscheinungsbild auf ein jugendliches und erwachsenes Publikum zu kindlich wirkte, um es zum Kauf und Lesen anzuregen. Zudem war die Beliebt- und Bekanntheit von insbesondere nicht-russischer Fantasyliteratur in Russland zum Erscheinungszeitpunkt aufgrund der langen Einschränkung des Fantasygenres durch die Sowjetunion noch sehr gering und der für ein jüngeres Publikum herausgegebene Fantasyroman schaffte es, anders als im deutsch- und englischsprachigen Raum, daher nicht, ein All-Age-Publikum zu begeistern. Des Weiteren wurde der Schwierigkeitsgrad des Textes durch teils stark manipulierende Übersetzungsstrategien vereinfacht, wie z. B. durch die Reduktion von italienischen Begriffen, zusätzliche Erklärungen zu den verbliebenen oder die Entschärfung von Schimpfworten, was erneut auf ein jüngeres Publikum hinweist.The subject of this master's thesis is an analysis of Cornelia Funke's novel for children and young adults "Herr der Diebe" (2000) and its Russian translation "Korol' vorov" (2003) with the aim of finding out the reasons why the Russian translation was not able to continue its international success in Russia. It is hypothesized that a similar success was not achieved in Russia as the status of fantasy Literature in Russia was still too low at the time of publication and "Korol' vorov", unlike in the German- and English-speaking countries, does not address a multi-age reading audience and is therefore rather considered as Childrens Literature. Linguistically simpler formulations and the colorful presentation of the Russian translation support this assumption. The hypothesis is examined by carrying out a paratext analysis according to Gérard Genette, an analysis of the Russian translation based on the Culture Specific Items according to Javier Franco Aixelá, and an investigation of the development of the status of fantasy Literature in Russia. The analysis showed that the publication of the Russian translation by a publisher for children's books only and the resulting colorful and playful appearance was too childish to encourage young adults and adults to buy and read the book. In addition, the popularity of especially non-Russian fantasy Literature in Russia at the time of publication was still very low due to the long restrictions of the fantasy genre by the Soviet Union, and the fantasy novel published for a younger audience, unlike in the German- and English-speaking countries, did therefore not manage to appeal to an all-age audience.     Diese Masterarbeit behandelt das Thema Multimodalität im Rahmen der Übersetzung von Bilderbüchern. Das Ziel besteht darin, die Bedeutung der Multimodalität in Bilderbüchern für Übersetzer und Übersetzerinnen zu veranschaulichen. Dazu wird eine Analyse des deutschen Werkes "Momo" von Michael Ende durchgeführt. Zuerst wird im theoretischen Teil der Arbeit auf die drei Hauptbegriffe Kinder- und Jugendliteratur, Bilderbücher und Multimodalität eingegangen. In diesem Zusammenhang werden Definitionen der drei Begriffe, die Herausforderungen bei der Übersetzung von kinder- und jugendliterarischen Werken sowie die Modi von Bilderbüchern besprochen. Anschließend erfolgt die empirische Analyse, in welcher die deutsche Fassung von "Momo" mit zwei englischen Übersetzungen in Hinsicht auf die visuellen Charakteristika sowie die Beziehungen zwischen Text und Illustrationen und deren Funktionen verglichen wird. Für diese Analyse wird auf Grundlage von vier Modellen aus der Literatur ein eigenes Modell erstellt, nach dem vier unterschiedliche Arten der Beziehung zwischen Text und Illustration definiert werden. Mithilfe des darauffolgenden Vergleiches der drei Werke können in beiden Übersetzungen Unterschiede zur deutschen Ausgabe in Bezug auf das multimodale Zusammenspiel festgestellt werden, welche zu einem veränderten Leseerlebnis führen. So werden die zwei englischen Ausgaben der Intention von Michael Ende, der die Illustrationen der deutschen Fassung eigens anfertigte und eine klare Vorstellung von diesen hatte, nur teilweise gerecht.This master thesis deals with multimodality in the translation of picture books. Its aim is to illustrate how important it is for translators of picture books to pay attention to the multimodality. For this purpose, an analysis is conducted of the German book "Momo" by Michael Ende. At first, the three main concepts Childrens Literature, picture books and multimodality are discussed, including their definitions, the challenges of translating Childrens Literature as well as the modes of picture books. This is followed by an empirical analysis in which the German edition of "Momo" is compared to two translations into English in terms of their visual characteristics and the relationships between text and illustrations as well as their functions. For this analysis, a model is created, defining four different types of relationships of text and illustration, based on four models from previous research on the translation of picture books. By comparing the three books, it is found that the multimodal interplay of both translations differs from the German edition, which leads to a different reading experience.
