    Abstract:

    Company Profile merupakan salah satu dari jenis media publikasi yang biasa digunakan dalam memperkenalkan suatu perusahaan, produk barang atau jasa yang menggabungkan media, text, audio, graphics, animasi, video, dan interactivity. Tujuan utama dari Company Profile ini adalah memperkenalkan program studi Teknik Informatika D3 Universitas Dian Nuswantoro kepada masyarakat luas khususnya calon mahasiswa yang akan melanjut studi ke jenjang perkuliahan. Dengan setiap menu utama berisikan informasi lebih detail yang berhubungan dengan Teknik Informatika D3 sehingga semakin memudahkan dalam membaca data yang disajikan. Pembuatan Company Profile berbasis web ini diawali dengan melakukan observasi, pengumpulan data dan interview setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan storyboard untuk rancangan layout. Pada akhirnya laporan proyek akhir ini menguraikan langkah-langkah (tutorial) dalam membangun sebuah Company Profile berbasis web dengan mengangkat tema pendidikan. Dan hasil proyek akhir yang berupa Company Profile berbasis web akan menampilkan informasi tentang profil singkat, galeri dan karya-karya mahasiswa Teknik Informatika D3.

    Saat ini perkembangan dalam dunia teknologi informasi dan media promosi berkembang dengan pesat, hal ini ditandai dengan banyaknya kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasitersebut. Jenis media penunjang promosi yang ada saat ini sangat bervariasi, hal tersebut merupakan tuntutan dari strategi promosi yang dikembangkan oleh perusahaan untuk mencapai profit untuk keberhasilan sebuah perusahaan. Promosi merupakan salah satu penentu keberhasilan suatu program pemasaran dalam suatu perusahaan. Saat ini media promosi seperti apa yang dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat atau pelakubisnis yang dapat mengkomunikasikan PT.     Teknologi informasi dan teknologi komunikasi memegang peranan sebagai teknologi kunci yaitu memacu suatu cara baru dalam kehidupan, dari kehidupan dimulai sampai dengan berakhir. Kehidupan seperti ini dikenal dengan e-life, artinya kehidupan ini sudah dipengaruhi oleh berbagai kebutuhan secara elektronik. Program Studi Teknik Informatika - D3 Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang yang kini telah mengalami perubahan profil kurikulum mampu menjadikan dirinya sebagai lembaga ilmiah berbasis teknologi informasi sekaligus masyarakat ilmiah, sehingga proses akademi dapat dilaksanakan secara optimal dan menghasilkan lulusan yang berwatak pejuang dan kaya ilmu dan teknologi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan bangsa. Maka dibuatlah media untuk mempromosikan dan menginformasikan keunggulan dan kurikulum baru dari program studi tersebut. Company Profile dengan konsep multimedia dapat menjadi pilihan yang digunakan untuk mempromosikannya. Sebagai media promosi dan informasi, pembuatan Company Profile membutuhkan berbagai data. Data-data tersebut didapatkan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Proyek akhir ini menguraikan tentang apa itu Teknik Informatika - D3, visi dan misi, struktur organisasi, staff dosen, kompetensi, kurikulum baru, galeri karya mahasiswa yang terdiri dari fotografi, desain grafis, animasi serta multimedia interaktif dan kerjasama-kerjasama yang dilakukan dengan instansi lainnya.
