His clear and logical academic ideology gradually completed from shaping ideology of Comparative Literature to the practice of influence study, from initiating "Chinese School" of Comparative Literature to the Chinese style study which relies mainly on oriental Literature and from the study of Comparative Literature to the study of Comparative culture. Based on Chinese textual research, German folklore, folk Literature and other scholarly research and starting with the relationship between Chinese and Indian Literature, Mr. Ji entered the world of Comparative Literature. Not only did he claim that Comparative Literature was apart of Comparative culture, but also that the oriental Literature would be further developed in the 21~(th) century.
