  • Demographic Development of the population
Journal Der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, 2005
    Co-Authors: Thomas L Diepgen
    Abstract:

During the last century the median life expectation age was lengthened about 30 years in Germany. According to recent prognoses this trend will continue over the next decades. Not only the number of people older than 60 years but also its percentage within the population was and will be increasing dramatically. This has important socio-economic, political and health-economic consequences. The increasing older population has an important impact on Dermatology. The incidence of many skin diseases is increasing with age due to life long exposure (e. g. UV-light), and aging processes are affecting the skin, its functions and immunology. Last not least, the distinction between skin disease and "cosmetic" skin problems has changed in the past decades in our society. Even a small reduction in the threshold of what the public and health professionals regard as a skin complaint worthy of medical attention could lead to a large increase in future dermatology service requirements. The Demographic changes in our society are becoming an important issue in dermatological health care research.

  • IRAN Demographic Development TRENDS
SCIENTIFIC REVIEW. SERIES 1. ECONOMICS AND LAW, 2020
Co-Authors: Sergey V. Ryazantsev, Alexey D. Bragin, Mehdi Afzali, Vladimir N. Arkhangelskiy
    Abstract:

The relevance of this article is due to the increasing geopolitical role of Iran as a dominant player in the Middle East being under severe pressure from external sanctions. These conditions make Iran a good example for research on the performance of population policies. Taking into account sanctions, decisions of the country's leadership in the Demographic sphere are made under a large burden of responsibility and are based on the idea, that population is the main resource for the further Development of the state. This article presents an analysis of the trends in the Demographic Development of Iran after the Islamic Revolution for the period from 1979 to 2019, as well as considers the current Demographic policy of the Government of Iran. There are analyzed a structure of the population by gender, age, ethnic, religious affiliation and features of population distribution in Iran. However, birth and death data testify to a natural population growth in the country, they reveal a tendency for irrational population growth, especially in the first decade after the Islamic revolution. The change in the components of natural growth in Iran is caused by the repeated change in the Demographic policy from a sharp increase in the birth rate to its reduction and vice versa. Based on the data from the Statistical Center of Iran, we state that Iranian society is be-coming more and more similar in matters of marriage and divorce to the societies of economically devel-oped countries. The total number of divorces is increasing in the country and the average age of marriage is growing as well. Taking into account current plans of the Iranian leadership to increase the population, both with life expectancy, it is obvious that the problem of aging population will increase in the country and will require additional costs from the state in the nearest future.

The Atlas is addressed to scientists, civil servants, social workers, teachers, graduate students, students (demographers, sociologists, political scientists, economists), as well as anyone interested in the socio-Demographic Development of Russia and Iran. • ABORTION AND ABORTIVE BEHAVIOR IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SEARCH FOR RESERVES OF Demographic Development IN RUSSIA
    Human Ecology, 2019
    Abstract:

The aim of the work is to analyze the modern trend of reducing absolute and relative abortion rates in Russia, as well as assessing this trend to preserve the reproductive potential and strengthen the socio-Demographic security of Russia. It examines the scope, pace, and regional differentiation of abortions in recent years, and identifies prospects for reducing the incidence of pregnancy interruptions as a reserve for improving Demographic Development. Methods. The method of analytical analysis consisted in the selection and study of the content of domestic and foreign approaches to the subject of scientific interest, Rosstat data and regulatory documents. The statistical method allowed making calculations, which were the basis for illustrations of results of the project using a graphic method. The method of comparison and the rating method gave an idea of the spread of abortions in different periods of time, and also provided an opportunity to classify the subjects of Russia according to a number of indicators. Results. In 2017 the number of abortions was less than 700 thousand. Over the previous seven years, Russia has lost 1 million lives due to abortions. The maximum abortions accounted for the most "productive" age of 25-29 years. The proportion of this group of women in the total number of women who produced an abortion is 27-28 %. This indicates a more intensive abortive behaviour of this age group of women, the positive transformation of which could also contribute to a greater number of births. Conclusions. The implementation of a nationwide campaign to prevent abortions can help save an additional 130-150 thousand lives of newborns annually. For 10 years, this will allow to increase births in the country to the level of 1.3-1.5 million children. The article contributes to the scientific discussion and considers abortions and abortive culture as an additional reserve to improve the Demographic situation in the future.

  • Demographic Development and implementation of population policy measures in the Republic of Srpska
Zbornik Matice srpske za drustvene nauke, 2010
    Co-Authors: Drasko Marinkovic
    Abstract:

Republic of Srpska faces complex Demographic problems that are manifested in a constant reduction in birth rates and negative population growth, reducing the number of pupils in primary schools, the process of depopulation, the disappearance of the villages, aging population, emigration of fertile and working-age population abroad. The components of natural movement of population in the period from 1996 to 2008 indicate problems in Demographic Development. The current rate of natural increase is negative and points to the disruption of vital structures of population with a range of negative consequences. At the level of the Republic of Srpska, family planning and social policy are under the strong influence of changes that occur in society. From the analysis of Demographic determinants for the last ten years it is evident that in the Republic of Srpska, for a longer time, there has been active Demographic recession initiated by an intensive reduction of fertility rates. In order to increase the fertility a broader social action is needed from which there should arise strategy for Demographic Development and family planning program that should take into account the number of children required for the replacement of generations. In accordance with the previous, it is needed to intensify activities on systematization of existing measures of population policy and to direct them primarily in pro-natal purposes, in order to distinguish measures of population and social policy. These activities should be developed at all levels, especially at the level of local government. .

  • state and perspectives of the Demographic Development of the geospace of the republic of srpska
Zbornik Matice srpske za drustvene nauke, 2006
    Co-Authors: Drasko Marinkovic
    Abstract:

Yearly rates of population increase and the data about the relative participation of particular areas in the total number of the population of the Republic of Srpska point to the interdependence between the natural movement and the tract processes of emigration, deagrarization and urbanization. These processes are in the harmony with the Demographic transition which is followed by the changes in the structure of the active population. Unfavourable tendencies in the re-distribution and reinstatement of the tract-Demographic polarization have the reflection in the disturbances in the Demographic structures and in the strengthening of the process of the total ageing of the population, specially in the rural areas. These tendencies result in a more pronounced polarization in the reproduction of the population in which the urban areas take over the priority. With the trend of the low and negative natural increase, which has the immediate influence on the accelerated process of ageing of the population, further growth of the population and socio-economic Development of the Republic of Srpska are questionable. In order to secure the constant growth of the population of this area, it is urgently necessary to conduct the measures of the population politics, that is, it is necessary to match the Demographic and general socio-economic Development.
