    Abstract:

    The study was aimed at investigating the status of Female Education in Pakistan. Education is a process of socialization according to the social needs of the society. Education brings change in the behaviour of individuals and empowers them to live with dignity and freedom. Education of women is regarded as a key element in their quest for equality. The impact of Education on women themselves, their family and society cannot be overemphasized. The contribution the women can make towards economic development of families and the economic system need to be monetarily assessed to see how much is best if they are involved in productive behaviour. The main objective of the study was to study the status of Female Education in Pakistan. The minimum level of Education for inclusion in the sample was at least secondary school certificate. The study was limited to Punjab. The cluster random sampling technique was used for administering the instrument of this study. The conclusions of the study were: (1) Salary of majority of the respondent's was in the range of Rs. 5,001-10,000 per month. However, a few respondents had other sources of income up to Rs. 5000; (2) Majority of the respondents claimed importance of educated Female because Education solves the financial problems and enhancement of personality and awareness.

    Abstract:

    Most studies examining the association between Female Education and fertility have reported an inverse association. However, little is known about the consistency of the relationship, or what level of Education triggers an inverse association. This study examined the consistency of the association between Female Education and fertility across the north-south demographic divide in Nigeria. Data on women aged 40-49 were taken from the 2003, 2008 and 2013 Nigerian DHS data sets. The results showed that Female Education remained significantly and consistently inversely related to fertility in both the north and south of Nigeria.     This paper reassesses the nexus between Female Education, employment and fertility in Nigeria. The four Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) that have been conducted in the country (1990‐2008) were analysed. Between 1990 and 2008, the Educational status of women improved appreciably and the proportion of illiterate women in the country declined from 57.2 to 35.8 per cent.     Abstract:

    This research work is to explore the role, status and perception of Female Education with respect to a budgetary change in District Peshawar. Education changes people leadership and makes them live with flexibility. The objectives were (i) To find the perception of Female Education regarding socio economic status (ii) to know the role of women as mother, wife and daughter, is to be assessed. The research study was restricted to Peshawar. For the administration of the study tool, a random sampling technique was used. A simple random sample, of 240 participants, of Peshawar District was chosen randomly. The main findings of the study included: (1) Somewhere between 5,001 and 10,000 Rs, wages of a mind sweeping number of respondents were consistent. In all cases, most respondents earned different settlement wells to Rs.5000; (2) the mostly respondents ensured criticality for the Female as the directorate deals with budgetary problems and personality

    Abstract:

    Along with all other factors that affect economic growth, a very important component of human capital is Female Education which affects economic growth positively. In the case of developing world this element is not taken into considerations. Gender based discrimination in Education is observed in case of Pakistan as well. This empirical study used annual time series data set over the period 1980 to 2009 and applied unit root and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) estimation techniques to find the contribution of Female Education for economic performance in Pakistan. This study recommends a need that Females workforce be provided with better Education facilities, strong infrastructure and organizational opportunities. Furthermore new ways must be introduced and encouraged to increase investment in Female Education to arrive at high social returns.
