Effect of silicone oil on the Gibberellic Acid production by Gibberella fujikuroi and Aspergillus niger.
Prikladnaia biokhimiia i mikrobiologiia, 2020Co-Authors: S. Ates, S. Ozenir, M. GökdereAbstract:The effect of silicone oil on Gibberellic Acid production was investigated using Gibberella fujikuroi and Aspergillus niger fungi. Silicone oil was used as an oxygen vector in the Gibberellic Acid production process. When silicone oil was used, Gibberellic Acid concentration increased with respect to the control run having A. niger and G. fujikuroi microorganisms 4.6 and 6.7 times, respectively.

Effects of Different Types of Gibberellic Acid on Yield and Quality of Pear
Journal of Hebei Agricultural Sciences, 2020Co-Authors: Du Xiao-dongAbstract:Using pear variety Lvbaoshi as the material, selecting the young fruits on the representative fruit branches on the east, south, west and north,GA3、GA4+7 and GA3·GA4+7 were smeared on fruit stalk, the effects of different types of Gibberellic Acid on the fruit setting rate, fruit size, single fruit weight, yield, quality and mature period of pear were studied. The results showed that Gibberellic Acid could significantly increase the fruit setting rate, obviously promote the fruit expanding and ripeness, and increase the yield. There were differences among different Gibberellic Acid treatments.Comparing with the control(water),GA4+7 and GA3·GA4+7 could increase the soluble sugar content, and decrease the titratable Acid content.GA3 could increase the titratable Acid content, and it had little influence on the soluble sugar content. The soluble solid content was significantly decreased with Gibberellic Acid, and that with GA3 was lower significantly than that with GA4+7 and GA3·GA4+7.The Vc content with different types of Gibberellic Acid had no significant difference.GA4+7 and GA3·GA4+7 could increase the yield and sugar content, and shorten the ripening date, which were safe to pear growth, and had no phytotoxicity.

The Distribution of Substances similar to Gibberellic Acid in Higher Plants
Annals of Botany, 2020Co-Authors: Margaret RadleyAbstract:Gibberellic-Acid-like substances have been found in extracts from all parts of seedlings of tall and dwarf peas and in mature seeds of wheat, French bean and tall and dwarf peas. They were present in amounts equivalent to 0-1-0*3 iig. Gibberellic Acid in 100 plants (F.W. 100-200 g.). Immature runner bean seed yielded larger quantities, equivalent to 0*25 [?g. Gibberellic Acid per gram fresh weight, distributed between testas, cotyledons, and embryos.

effect of Gibberellic Acid spray on performance of tomato
Turkish Journal of Biology, 2006Co-Authors: M Masroor, Auwais Ahmed Khan, Champa Gautam, Firoz Mohammad, Manzer H Siddiqui, Muhammad Naeem, Nasir M KhanAbstract:A pot experiment was performed according to a factorial randomized design at Aligarh to study the effect of 4 levels of Gibberellic Acid spray (0, 10 -8 , 10 -6 and 10 -4 M GA3) on the growth, leaf-NPK content, yield and quality parameters of 2 tomato cultivars (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), namely Hyb-SC-3 and Hyb-Himalata. Irrespective of its concentration, spray of Gibberellic Acid proved beneficial for most parameters, especially in the case of Hyb-SC-3.
