Design of Missile Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation System Based on RT-LAB
Computer Simulation, 2009Co-Authors: Yan JieAbstract:The Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation plays an important role in missile design.The method of how to construct the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system based on the RT-LAB Simulation platform was introduced.The Simulation model applied for RT-LAB was built,the driver under RT-LAB was written according to self-made board,Simulation control software based on RT-LAB is developed,and the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation platform was designed.The research shows that the Simulink model can be applied to the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system conveniently and rapidly based on RT-LAB environment.The Simulation result has illustrated that the difficulty of establishing the system is decreased,the development period is shorten,and the flexibility and reliability of the Simulation system are enhanced.

Application of VMIC Realtime Network in Missile Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation
Journal of Spacecraft TT&C Technology, 2009Co-Authors: Yan JieAbstract:Realtime communication technology and synchronization algorithm are key technologies in Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation.VMIC reflective memory network is chosen to construct the communication network platform of a missile Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system to meet high realtime design requirements.A virtual shared memory middleware method based on VMIC reflective memory network is adopted and three operation modes,namely,server,guest and spy operation modes,are proposed.Platform Simulation results show that the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system has explicit realtime performance and no error data frames and frame losses are encountered during Simulation while achieving synchronized data communication.

Research and Application of RT-LAB in the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation
2008Co-Authors: Yan JieAbstract:The Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation plays a very important role in missile design.Based on the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system of certain missile,the system truss as well as the role of RT-LAB are introduced,the direction of the software is proposed in detail,some technique difficulties which are found in the process of the Simulation model construction are given,and the methods of how to write the input/output board driver are presented.The research shows RT-LAB can apply the Simulink model to the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system conveniently and rapidly,reduce the difficulties in constructing the system,increase the stability and reliability of the Simulation system.

Probing into the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation for Non-lineal Control System
2003Co-Authors: Er Lian-jieAbstract:It is designed in this paper a Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system for a non-lineal control, which validates the non-lineal control method, and sums up the mathematics model of the total pulse for the control force. Then the error of the Simulation system is analyzed. Next the non-lineal control system is validated through the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation test, and the Simulation system is validated too. Finally it shows that the method of the constitute Simulation system can guide the resemble Simulation system.

The Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation on the Control System of a Small Launch Vehicle

In Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation on launch vehicle, some hardware components are connected to the Simulation loop and then work driven by data from the running computer which yield different operand quantities in different coordinate frames. According to the analysis on characteristic of the ballistics in the inertial launch reference frame, a Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation system for a small launch vehicle containing IMU, rocket-borne computer and rudder is established. Simulation results indicate the control scheme is accurate, the algorithm of navigation, guidance and attitude control are valid, and the calculation reduction quantity benefited from using the data in the inertial launch reference frame rather than in launch reference is worked out.

Computer Engineering, 2007Co-Authors: Luo XilingAbstract:In order to solve some problems in the traditional Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation,a new Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation platform based on VxWorks is proposed.Standard and extensible hardware of Simulation computer is designed to fit the variable and extensible I/O interface.Foundation of Simulation models is simplified by using Simulink.Models are automatically transformed into executable code running on real time operation system VxWorks based on hardware platform through real time workshop of Matlab.The efficiency of development is improved through automatic code generation.The requirement of real time is satisfied by executable code running on VxWorks.Some key techniques in this platform,such as the I/O interface driver,the porting of VxWorks operation system over hardware platform,automatic code generation based on hardware platform,modification of model parameters and collection of Simulation results in real time,are discussed.

A New Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation Scheme of Inertial Navigation System
Computer Simulation, 2005Co-Authors: Li Xin-weiAbstract:Because only the three-axis angular motions can but the three-axis linear motions can't be emulated by three-axis revolving table, the inertial navigation system can't completely work in Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation. A new Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation scheme of inertial navigation system, which uses real data measured by accelerators and gyros, is put forward. The complete navigation computing is accomplished by external compensation of linear motions in the scheme. Not only the integrity of the inertial navigation system is guaranteed in Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation, but also the transfer alignment can be completed in the scheme. The validity and correctness are verified by digital Simulation.
