Clinical Value of Transvaginal Ultrasound With Color Doppler for Differential Diagnosis of Very Early Intrauterine Pregnancy and Very Early Ectopic Pregnancy
Guide of China Medicine, 2010Co-Authors: Xie Li-pingAbstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of TV-CD in testing the blood flow of uterine endometrium for differential diagnosis of very early intrauterine pregnancy and very early ectopic pregnancy. Methods The blood flow of uterine endometrium in104 cases with very early pregnancy were tested and compared with the last pregnant result. Results TV-CD can improve the display rate of uterine endometrium, blood signal. In the group of very early intrauterine pregnancy, the RI of the blood flow for uterine spiral Artery was often 0.50; In the group of very early ectopic pregnancy, the RI of the blood flow for uterine Helicine Artery was often 0.50. Conclusions Compared intrauterine to appendix untrasounic imaging, TV-CD has important clinical value for the differential diagnosis of very early intrauterine pregnancy and very early ectopic pregnancg by testing the blood flow of uterine endometrium.

Clinical Value of Transvaginal Ultrasound With Color Doppler for Differential Diagnosis of Very Early Intrauterine Pregnancy and Very Early Ectopic Pregnancy
Journal of University of South China, 2009Co-Authors: Chen GanAbstract:Objective To explora the clinical value of TVS-CD in testing the blood flow of uterine endometrium for differential diagnosis of very early intrauterine pregnancy and very early ectopic pregnancy. Methods The blood flow of uterine endometrium in 52 cases with very early pregnancy were tested and compared with the last pregnant result. Results TVS-CD can improve the display rate of uterine endometrium, blood signal. In the group of very early intrauterine pregnancy, the RI of the blood flow for uterine spiral Artery was often 0.48;In the group of very early ectopic pregnancy, the RI of the blood flow for uterine Helicine Artery was often 0.48. Conclusions Compared intrauterine to appendix untrasounic imaging,TVS-CD has important clinical value for the differential diagnosis of very early intrauterine pregnancy and very early ectopic pregnancg by testing the blood flow of uterine endometrium.

A study on haemodynamics of Helicine Artery during menstrual cycle in patients with adenomyosis by transvaginal color Doppler flow image
Jiangsu Medical Journal, 2011Co-Authors: Wang XingtiaAbstract:Objective Helicine Artery hemodynamics was observed in menstrual cycle of adenomyosis(AM) patient,To investigate the feasibility of Doppler ultrasonic examination for early diagnosis of adenomyosis(AM).Methods The resistent index(RI) and S/D ratio of the Helicine Artery were measured in 28 AM cases(group A) and 30 healthy women(group B) in the follicle growth phase, follicle maturation phase, midluteal phase and luteal advanced phase with transvaginal color Doppler flow image(TV-CDFI).The results were analyzed and compared. Results The levels of RI and S/D ratio of the Helicine Artery in both groups were in an order of in early follicular phasein mature follicle phasein midluteal phase. The difference of the levels of RI and S/D ratio of the Helicine Artery among three phases was not significiant in group A,but was significiant in group B.Conclusion The changes of haemodynamics of Helicine Artery during menstrual cycle are significantly different between AM patient and healthy women, indicating that the early diagnosis rate can be elevated with TV-CDFI.

A hemodynamic study of uterine and Helicine Artery in normal menstrual cycle of procreative women with transvaginal color Doppler imaging
2009Co-Authors: Wang XingtianAbstract:Objective To investigate the hemodynamic variations and characteristics of uterine and Helicine Artery in normal menstrual cycle of procreative women. Methods Transvaginal color Doppler flow imaging(TV-CDFI) was employed to measure systolic maximal velocity(Vs),end-diastolic velocity(Vd),S/D ratio and resistant index(RI) of uterine and Helicine Artery in the follicle growth phase, follicle maturation phase,mid-luteal phase and advanced phase of luteal development. Results There was no statistical significance in the S/D and RI differences during menstrual cycle in bilateral uterine arteries. The RI of uterine Artery degraded during mid-luteal phase and advanced luteal phase. The lowest RI of uterine Artery is during the advanced luteal phase. There was statistical significance in RI between follicle growth phase, follicle maturation phase,mid-luteal phase and advanced luteal phase(P0.01).The lowest RI of Helicine Artery was during the midluteal phase. The highest RI of Helicine Artery was obtained during the follicle growth phase. There was statistical significance in RI differences between follicle growth phase, follicle maturation phase,mid-luteal phase and advanced luteal phase(P0.01).Conclusions Blood flow of uterine and Helicine Artery changes periodically in healthy procreate women with normal menstrual cycle. Moreover, there is significant correlation between blood stream and function condition in uterine and Helicine Artery. The Helicine blood flow impregnation of the endometrium reflects a more remarkable level of hormone than the uterine Artery.

Hemodynamics of Pelvic Nerve Induced Erection in a Canine Model. II. Cavernosal Inflow and Occlusion
The Journal of urology, 1993Co-Authors: Y. Vardi, M.b. SirokyAbstract:Abstract Using a previously developed canine model of erection, we measured pudendal Artery and venous flow as well as pressure in the corpora cavernosa, pudendal Artery and vein. Penile erection was induced by pelvic nerve stimulation. Generalized arterial vasodilatation was dependent on stimulation frequency and occurred most prominently at stimulation frequencies of approximately 16 Hz. Cavernosal smooth muscle relaxation was also frequency dependent in a similar manner. In contrast, using a technique of delayed arterial inflow, we demonstrated that Helicine Artery relaxation was very sensitive to stimulation frequency and occurred only at a stimulation frequency of approximately 16 Hz. The mechanism of corporal occlusion is primarily dependent on nerve-induced relaxation of the cavernosal smooth muscle. The frequency-dependent nature of pelvic nerve induced erection is primarily due to the frequency dependence of the cavernosal resistance vessels that control arterial inflow to the cavernosal spaces.
