Study on One Component Moisture Curing Polyurethane Hot Melt Adhesive
Chemistry and Adhesion, 2008Co-Authors: Zhan Zhong-xianAbstract:The one component moisture curing polyurethane hot melt Adhesives with different-NCO contents were synthesized from polyol and diisocyanate.The curing mechanism was expatiated,and the effects of structure of soft-segment,-NCO content,curing time and other fillers on the performance were discussed.The results showed that the one component moisture curing polyurethane hot melt Adhesives had the optimal performance with the-NCO content was 3.0% and addition of proper amount of terpene-resin and EVA.The tensile strength,initial adhesion and shear strength could reach9.5MPa,0.38MPa and 8.4MPa respectively when the curing time was 24 h.

Preparation and Performance Research of Reactive Polyurethane Hot-Melt Adhesive
Chemical Propellants & Polymeric Materials, 2006Co-Authors: Zhang Yu-qingAbstract:The reactive polyurethane Hot-Melt Adhesive was synthesized by using polytetramethylene glycol(PTMG),methylene-4,4'-diphenylene diisocyanate(MDI) and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA) as main raw materials. The effect of different relativemolecular mass PTMG, NCO and EVA contents on mechanical properties of reactive Hot-Melt Adhesive was studied. The results showedthat flexibility and elongation of Adhesive increased with increasing of polyether relative molecular mass. The mechanical properties ofAdhesive were better when NCO mass fraction was 4% ̄6%. The comprehensive performance of Adhesive was better when EVA massfraction was 30%.
