  • role of Lingzhi Mushroom ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide peptide s glucan on sexual behaviour testicle testosterone testis and mitotic index of old male brown rat rattus norvegicus
    2015
Co-Authors: Bambang Wasito Tjipto, Koosnadi Saputra
    Abstract:

Late Onset Hypogonadism (LOH) is a syndrome characterized with decline in physical ability, sexual and psychological ability associated with decreased of testosterone in the blood. In middle age, around 45 – 59 years of age, reproductive function and hormones such as testosterone started to decline. In accordance with the increasing age, the testosterone production also decreased, which is known as the aging process. The increase of life expectancy also increases the number of elderly in the future. Thus, the elderly problems also increased. Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide peptide which is known as s-Glucan has been used as traditional medicine in China and Japan for hepatitis, hypertension, chronic bronchitis, asthma bronchial, cancer and some other conditions. This study aimed to analyze the effect of  Glucan extract from Ganoderma Lucidum Polysaccharide Peptide (PSP) for 21days compared to Glucan ethanol extract of Ganoderma lucidum Polysaccharide Peptide (PSP) on sexual behavior, testosterone, and mitosis index of old male (Rattus norvegicus) rat testis. To determine male R norvegicus sexual activity, it used CCTV incaged inside the cage made of acrylic for 21days. Testicular testosterone was examined using immunohistochemistry. Mitosis index is evaluated using histological preparation with HE staining. Sexual activity of old male R. norvegicus rats was observed at 01.00 a.m. until 04.00 a.m. after treatment, the mean ± standard deviation difference of the control group is 0.00  0.866a, the water extract / decoct mean 2.22  1.394b and ethanol extract 1.89  1.269b, Where significant value (p  0.01).In studies of mitotic index old R. norvegicus mice testicular after being given a PSP G. lucidum extract ethanol =  Glucan, it had the highest with a mean value of 12.11 2.759c compared to decoction extract with a mean of 8.89  1.364b while at control, the lowest mean is 2.56  1.333a. There were significant differences in the average value of testosterone between groups with p<0.0001. There was an increase in the mitotic index between groups, at the group of G. lucidum PSP ethanol extract, than the decoction extract of PSP G. lucidum.

  • ICCAIS - Internet of things (IOT) for smart solar energy: A case study of the smart farm at Maejo University
2017 International Conference on Control Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS), 2017
Co-Authors: Oran Chieochan, Anukit Saokaew, Ekkarat Boonchieng
    Abstract:

This research aims to prototype a small smart off-grid solar cell system. o provide an alternative electrical supply for a smart Lingzhi Mushroom farm. This research applied the use of IOT with voltage and current sensors to measure and monitor the voltage of solar cell charging, amp (ampere) of current charging from the solar panel into a battery and (ampere) of current loading from a battery to the irrigation systems (fog and sprinkler pumps). Voltage and current data processed through Blynk was developed as an IOT cloud service. Data was stored into the Blynk and displayed on mobile devices in real time. The functional status (switching on and off for periods of time, current consumption) pushes notifications through Blynk IOT cloud service on the Blynk application. The equipment and tools used in this research were NodeMCU, voltage and current sensors, relay modules, DC sprinkler, and fog pumps. A small off-grid solar cell was applied. The solar cell system consists of a charger, battery, and solar panels. The IOT cloud used is Blynk. The results of the research shows that using IOT with voltage and current sensors enhances the prototype of a smart farming as an alternative and green electrical resource.

2017 14th International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (JCSSE), 2017
Co-Authors: Oran Chieochan, Anukit Saokaew, Ekkarat Boonchieng
    Abstract:

This research aims to prototype a smart Lingzhi Mushroom farm. This research applied the use of IOT with a sensor to measure and monitors the humidity in the Lingzhi Mushroom farm. The humidity data processed through NETPIE was developed and provided by NECTEC as a free service for IOT. Humidity data was stored into a NET FEED (a sub service from NETPIE) and displayed on mobile devices and computers through NET FREEBOARD (another sub service of NETPIE). This research also controlled sprinkler and fog pumps automatically and the functional status (switching on and off for periods of time) pushes notifications through LINE API on the LINE Application. The equipment and tools used in this research were NodeMCU, humidity sensor, RTC (real time clock), relay module, sprinkler and fog pumps. C++ and Node.JS were used as programming. The services and protocol used were NETPIE (Network Platform for internet of everything) with subservices such as NETPIE FEED, NETPIE FREEBOARD, and NETPIE REST API. The results of the research showed that using IOT with the sensor enhanced the prototype of smart farming.
