Shaanxi Forest Science and Technology, 2007Co-Authors: Yang Cun-liangAbstract:Thirteen sample plots were set in the Hongzhuang forest farm randomly according to different uses of land,to investigate Zoker Population,vegetation types and composite coverage.The result showed that zoker Population is in positive correlation with the proportion of vegetation coverage while in negative correlation with the coverage of gramineae.Regression equation is:y=1.518 3x1-5.330 8 and y=71.678 01.891 1x2.The favorite plant for zoker in order is Composite,Gramineae and subordinate grass.

Bulletin of Soil and Water Conservation, 2005Co-Authors: Jiang Ting-anAbstract:The study is carried out at Liulin and Ziaoyuan towns of Yan'an city in the loess plateau,Shaanxi province in July to September 2003.The vegetation coverage and zoker density were surveyed in seventeen one plots by random sampling.The result showed that there is a extreme significantly negative correlation between them.The higher vegetition coverage,the lower zoker's density as well as the rodent damage.The ecological threshold limit value of the vegetation coverage for forest growing safely is 64.14%.The time alignment during the vegetation renew and the regularity of growth and decline of the zoker's Population on forestry-land there from the farmland in loess plateau is showed.

Population Quantity and structure dynamics of plant Population of Picea schrenkiana.
Journal of Nanjing Forestry University, 2009Co-Authors: Song Yuyang, Zhao Ziyu, Yang Zhenan, Zhang WenhuiAbstract:Investigation and statistical analysis were conducted on 15 plots (25m×25m) of Picea schrenkiana,which were arranged on Tianshan Mountains. We studied their age structures and static life tables. The Population dynamics were predicted using time sequence model. The analysis of age structure of P. schrenkiana Populations showed that all Populations were fluctuated in upside down "J" shapes,with most individuals (82.70%) concentrated in the 0—40 year age class. Young individuals were dramatically abundant. By contrast,there were few middle and old individuals. The analysis of life table,the curves of lose rate,survival rate,mortality rate and survival function of the Population showed that the Population had a peak of mortality at Ⅱ age class,and survival curve of the Population was between DeeveyⅡand DeeveyⅢ. The functions used in static life table could explain the structure and dynamic of P. schrenkiana Population well. Time sequence models predicted that young individuals would be relative rich,and Population structure would be stable after 20,40,60,80,100,140 years in the future.
