a composition for paste vinyl chloride resin and a method for preparing paste vinyl chloride resin having reduced heat kick and paste vinyl chloride having low viscosity of plastisol and paste vinyl chloride resin using thereof
2013Co-Authors: Lee Chan Hee, Kim Han Hong, Lee Hyun Min, Bae Heung KwonAbstract:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a paste vinyl chloride resin is provided to reduce the viscosity of a plastisol using a specific composition for a vinyl chloride resin. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a paste vinyl chloride resin consists of a vinyl chloride monomer, initiator, and surfactant. The surfactant includes an anionic surfactant and a cationic surfactant. A manufacturing method of a paste vinyl chloride resin comprises a step of polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer, an initiator, an anionic surfactant, and a cationic surfactant in a polymerization reactor with a Reflux Condenser, and a step of spraying and drying the results to obtain the paste vinyl chloride resin.

Energy-efficient control mode of operation of domestic absorption refrigerating device
ScienceRise, 2019Co-Authors: Aleksandr Titlov, Andrey KholodkovAbstract:The current environmental situation is forcing developers of household refrigeration equipment to reconsider their attitude to absorption refrigeration device (ARD), which can be considered as one of the alternative options for switching to environmentally friendly refrigerants. At the same time, ARDs have increased energy consumption in comparison with similar compression models. It is shown that the main element ensuring the effective ARD operation is a Reflux Condenser. Modeling has shown that to ensure complete purification of the ammonia vapor stream under severe conditions of ARD operation, the thickness of the thermal insulation of the Reflux Condenser lifting section in the form of fiberglass fabric should be 3...4 mm thick

MODELING OF THERMAL MODES OF THE Reflux Condenser OF THE ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION UNIT
EUREKA: Physics and Engineering, 2017Co-Authors: Andrey Kholodkov, Aleksandr TitlovAbstract:Currently, developers of modern refrigeration equipment, in accordance with the plans of the UN, are moving to natural refrigerants (hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide and ammonia) that do not have an adverse technological impact on the ecosystem of the planet. In domestic refrigeration technology, one of the options is absorption refrigeration units, the working body of which is an aqueous ammonia mixture with the hydrogen addition. Having a number of unique advantages over compression analogs, absorption systems are characterized by lower energy characteristics. As the analysis shows, the maximum thermodynamic losses in the absorption aggregates are concentrated in the generating unit when the ammonia is evaporated, it is purified from water vapor and transported to the evaporator. In this connection, the mathematical modeling of the thermal regimes of the Reflux Condenser is performed, which is responsible for purification and transportation of ammonia vapor. Modeling is carried out on standard designs of absorption refrigeration units taking into account reasonable assumptions and results of own experimental researches. A cellular model is used. Stationary operating modes are modeled due to the high thermal inertia of the processes in the Reflux Condenser. As a result, the perspective of the thermal insulation installation throughout the Reflux section is shown, which makes it possible to increase the energy efficiency by 17 ... 22 %

Comparison of soybean oil and castor oil methanolysis in the presence of tin(IV) complexes
Fuel, 2011Co-Authors: Tatiana M. Serra, Daniel R. De Mendonça, Jhosianna P.v. Da Silva, Mario R. Meneghetti, Simoni M.p. MeneghettiAbstract:In this paper we present and discuss the results obtained from the methanolysis of two vegetable oils with very distinct triglyceride composition, castor oil and soybean oil, using Lewis acid Sn(IV)-based compounds as catalysts. For all transesterification reactions, two different types of reactors were employed; an open glass (OG) reactor equipped with a Reflux Condenser, and a closed steel (CS) reactor. The results indicated that in all reactions assayed, regardless of the Sn(IV)-based catalyst employed, the yields obtained with the methanolysis of castor oil are generally lower than those carried out with soybean oil. Furthermore, independently of the oil used, the reaction yields tend to be higher when the CS reactor was employed.

Transesterification of soybean oil in the presence of diverse alcoholysis agents and Sn(IV) organometallic complexes as catalysts, employing two different types of reactors
Applied Catalysis A-general, 2009Co-Authors: Daniel R. De Mendonça, Jhosianna P.v. Da Silva, Mario R. Meneghetti, Rusiene M. De Almeida, Carlos R. Wolf, Simoni M.p. MeneghettiAbstract:A systematic study on alcoholysis of soybean oil in the presence of Sn(IV) complexes, to produce fatty acid alkyl esters, was carried out under different reaction conditions. Firstly, two different types of reactors have been employed and compared: an open glass reactor, equipped with a Reflux Condenser, and a closed steel reactor. Results point out that the use of the closed steel reactor is advantageous, since higher yields are obtained in shorter reaction times. In the sequence, five alcohols have been used as alcoholysis agents (methanol, ethanol, n-butanol, iso-propanol, and iso-butanol) in the presence of dibutyl tin dilaurate as catalyst. Under these conditions and using only a slight excess of alcohol, high yields of fatty acid alkyl esters were obtained.
