  • Research on Development Strategy of Sustainable Utilization of Water Resources in Northwest Hebei – Development Strategy of Sustainable Utilization of Water Resources and Vegetable Industry
    Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Co-Authors: Shou Yi Liu, Dong Ling Wei, Jia Jun Liu
    Abstract:

[Objective] By understanding the past and present development of water resources and development advantages of Vegetable Industry in Northwest Hebei, as well as exacerbated desertification caused by the conflict between water shortage and Vegetable Industry development conflicts. We recommend the development of sustainable utilization of water resources available for the Vegetable Industry sustainable development strategy. [Methods] Methods are taken as a combination of scientific research based on field surveys, questionnaires and statistical analysis, theory and practical testing. [Results] Northwest Hebei water resources development has gone from earth-rock wells and small-scale channels of human excavation, excavation of manual work and machinery to the rapid growth of Vegetable irrigable land. As a consequence of insufficiency of average annual rainfall in the region and the limited capacity of the groundwater recharge, water shortage has become a bottleneck element as a constraint to the development of Vegetable Industry. The conflict between water shortage and Vegetable Industry has intensified desertification. [Conclusion] The Vegetable Industry development should base itself on the carrying capacity of water resources as a priority. Sustainable utilization of water resources and scientific development can ensure and promote the sustainable development of Vegetable Industry.

  • Contribution Analysis of Production Factors of Vegetable Industry in Hebei Province
    Tianjin Agricultural Sciences, 2012
    Co-Authors: Wang Fang-zhou
    Abstract:

According to the characteristics of Vegetable Industry production in Hebei Province, the land, capital and labor were determined to the main Vegetable production factors. Through construction and evaluation of contribution analytical models of production factors about the Vegetable Industry, the author found the capital and labor would not achieve a leading role for Vegetable production increase, but it was blindly relied on acreage to increase the Vegetable production. Therefore, in order to improve the contribution of land for Vegetable production, the author believed it must improve the land structure and intensity, rely on changes in production operations, promote technological progress and optimize resource allocation etc.new content-type development path.

  • Study on Evaluation Model and Index System of Inter-provincial Vegetable Industry Competitiveness
    Hubei Agricultural Sciences, 2010
    Co-Authors: Wang Fang-zhou
    Abstract:

Inter-provincial Vegetable industrial competitiveness is firstly defined in this paper, then the use of the basic theory and methods of economics, management science and statistics, based on certain principles, the author set out evaluation index system of the inter-provincial Vegetable Industry competitiveness. The index system including three parts of competitiveness of yielding, processing and circulation, was further broken down into 31 specific indicators.Based on the discussion of indicators weights and data standardized methods, the papers propose evaluation model of inter-provincial Vegetable Industry competitiveness.
