    Abstract:

    Decision support system in development and Down-streaming of coconut-based Agroindustry constitutes a meaningful approach for stakeholders in decision making process, in which it is semi-structural process in coconut Agroindustry. This current work aimed to identify and analyze a method and approach in development of coconut Agroindustry and its downstream, as well as to collaborate and criticize both stages. This work has reviewed 146 scientific articles from 5 main publication databases worldwide published between 2000 – 2018. The identification and classification techniques of this work included multicriteria decision making, financial feasibility study, qualitative and quantitative study, while the methods were generally grouped into decision support system, multicriteria decision making, multi objective decision making, smart system. Currently, methods in decision making system in the area of coconut Agroindustry in both downstream and development stage mostly discussed in traditional perspective, without considering spatial intelligent decision support system which enables us to create decision faster. This work successfully built research framework as feed for further model development using smart decision making system covering development and downstream coconut Agroindustry with integration of potential area mapping model, product development, and institutional aspect.

    Abstract:

    Oil palm plantations as one of the sexiest commodities; produce a high yield of oil and fat that can be used in various sectors. The prospect of oil palm and its derivative products is good, but there are obstacles and problems faced that are mainly related to sustainability issues in oil palm plantations and its downstream process. Therefore, it is important to study the decision-making process that are needed to develop sustainable palm oil Agroindustry. This paper aims at providing a comprehensive literature review for decision support system for sustainable Agroindustry. Totally, 186 scientific publication articles from 2005 to 2019 were reviewed and synthesized. The reviewed articles were categorize based on the keywords of palm oil sustainability, geographic information system (GIS), and decision support system (DSS). The research gap and pointers for future research that are identified is the lack of sustainability aspect inclusion on decision-making process. We also identified the lack discussion of integrated spatial and intelligent tools through DSS for better, faster, and smarter decision-making process. In the end part of the paper, a pointer for possible future research was develop in terms of combination through spatial-intelligent system applying business analytics for sustainable Agroindustry.

    Abstract:

    This paper proposes trust and trustworthiness as a novel approach in Agroindustry logistic and supply chain. The objective of this article is to analyze the existing methods and approaches for trust and trustworthiness to develop a new framework in Agroindustry logistics and the supply chain from shipment planning, routing and scheduling, shipping execution and inventory control processes. The author reviewed and synthesized 84 scientific articles which were published between 2004 and 2019. The reviewed articles were categorized into contract, competencies, goodwill, and performance trust and trustworthiness. The potentials identified for future research were the importance role of management in maintaining trust and trustworthiness in the supply chain system. Most previous authors have applied an approach of interaction and impact on collaborative relationship and performance in supply chains. The dominant methods we found in literature were contractual and impact on relationship quality. Most of the literature focuses on managing trust relationships and there is a lack of discussion about the relationship of trust in shipment planning, routing and scheduling, shipping execution and inventory control. The contribution of this paper was mapping the method in relationship of trust, trustworthiness and develop new framework. This paper developed and suggested a new framework for maintaining trust and trustworthiness in the Agroindustry logistic and supply chain model.

    Abstract:

    Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop a spatial intelligent decision support system (SIDSS) for increasing productivity in the rubber Agroindustry by green productivity (GP) approach. The SIDSS was used to measure the productivity of rubber plantation and rubber Agroindustry by GP approach, and select the best strategies for increasing the productivity of rubber Agroindustry. Design/methodology/approach This system was developed by combining spatial analysis, GP, and fuzzy analytic network process (ANP) with the model-based management system, which is able to provide comprehensive and meaningful decision alternatives for the development of natural rubber Agroindustry. Rubber plantation productivity measurement model was used to find the productivity level of rubber plantation with fuzzy logic, and also to provide information and decision alternatives to all stakeholders regarding spatial condition of rubber Agroindustry, production process flow, and analysis of the seven green wastes at each production process flow using the geographic information system. GP measurement model was used to determine the productivity performance of the rubber Agroindustry with the green productivity index (GPI). The best strategy for increasing the productivity was determined with fuzzy ANP. Findings Rubber plantation measurement model showed that the average of plantation productivity was 6.25 kg/ha/day. GP measurement model showed that the GPI value of ribbed smoked sheet (RSS) was 0.730, whereas of crumb rubber (CR) was 0.126. The best strategy for increasing the productivity of rubber Agroindustry was raw material characteristics control. Based on the best strategy, the GPI value of RSS was 1.340, whereas of CR was 0.228. Research limitations/implications This decision support system is still limited as it is based on static data; it needs further development so that it can be more dynamically based on developments in the rubber Agroindustry related levels of productivity and environmental impact. In addition, details regarding the decision to increase the productivity of the rubber section by benchmarking efforts should be studied further, both among plantation as well as among countries such as Thailand so that the productivity of rubber plantation and Agroindustry can be integrated. Practical implications This research can help the planters to select superior clones for rubber trees, to improve the technique of tapping latex, and to use a better coagulant. The good quality and quantity of raw material is a key factor in increasing the productivity of rubber Agroindustry; if the quality of latex is good then the resulting product will also have a good quality and production cost can be reduced. In addition, the application of GP through the calculation of GPI value using improvement scenarios can be used as a reference and comparison for evaluating the performance of rubber Agroindustry to reduce the waste generated by the activities of rubber processing plant. Social implications Reduction of waste generated by production activities can improve the quality of life of the workforce and the environment. The calculation of GPI value can also be used as a basis to use raw materials, water, and electricity more efficiently. Originality/value This system was developed by combining spatial analysis, GP, and fuzzy ANP with the model-based management system, which is able to provide comprehensive and meaningful decision alternatives for the development of natural rubber Agroindustry.

    Abstract:

    This study aims to analyze supply chain performanc, and added value in kelanting Agroindustry in Gantimulyo Village. This research was conducted at six kelanting agroindustries in Gantimulyo Village, Pekalongan District, East Lampung Regency. Data collection was conducted in February 2019. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Performance measurements were made by  comparing indicators on FoodSCOR Card indicators. The calculation of added value used Hayami added value method. The results showed the flow pattern of supply chain started from farmers and agent as the main suppliers of raw materials. The perfomance of kelanting agroindustri showed that the average indicators were good based on indicators comparison of FoodSCOR card. The added value shows a positive value, meaning that kelanting Agroindustry is feasible to be developed. Key words: added value, kelanting, supply chain

    Abstract:

    The purposes of this study are analyzing the production performance, identifying internal and external environment, and determining the priority of kerupuk kemplang Agroindustry marketing strategy.  The location of the study is determined deliberately as the consideration the area is the production center of kerupuk kemplang Agroindustry in Bandar Lampung.  The number of respondents are 14 kerupuk kemplang Agroindustry owners that are randomly selected disproportionately.  Data were collected in January – February 2020.  The analytical methods used are the analysis of production performance, SWOT (Strenghts, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) analysis, and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) analysis.  The results of the study indicated that kerupuk kemplang agroindustrial performance based on productivity aspect, capacity, quality, and speed of delivery are in good category, while based on the flexible aspects are not in good category.  The main strength of kerupuk kemplang Agroindustry is the location of strategic business and close to suppliers.  Main drawback is the location of the business away from some consumers. The main opportunities are the need and high consumer interest on the product.  The main threat is the supply of reduced raw material when approaching holiday seasons.  The strategy of priority is improving the quality of products, following the bazaar organized by the government, utilizing technologies such as e-commerce and social media, collaborating with a kerupuk kemplang agent, and optimizing the utilization of strategic business locations to increase production volumes by improving cooperation with suppliers. Key words: kerupuk kemplang Agroindustry, marketing strategies, production performanc

    Abstract:

    This study aims to analyze income and added value in tofu and tempe agroindustries in Bandar Agung Village Terusan Nunyai Subdistrict Lampung Tengah Regency.  The data were collected in January - Febuary 2020 using a case study method. Agroindustry income is obtained from subtracting the total revenue by total costs and the calculation of added value uses Hayami value added method. The results of this study showed that profit of tofu production was IDR5,046,112.98/week and of tempe was IDR1,903,857.44/week with the R/C >1, meaning that the business was profitable and feasible. The calculation of added values of tofu and tempe agroindustries showed postive values with added value  ratios of  56.75% of tofu Agroindustry and 53.15% of the tempe Agroindustry.Key words:income, added value, Agroindustry, soybea

    Abstract:

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the production performance and added value of powdered herbal Agroindustry. This research was carried out in Asto Mulyo Village, Punggur Subdistrict, Lampung Tengah District, which involved agroindustrial owners, industrial agencies, supermarket managers, self-service consumers, and community leaders. Data are analyzed quantitatively and statistically. The results of the research, herbal powder production performance is already good, with productivity of 5,16 kg/HOK, meaning that every one HOK of labor is able to produce as much as 5.16 kg powdered herbs, although the capacity value of powdeed herbal products is already high (91,00 percent). The R/C of Agroindustry is 1.88, meaning that the Agroindustry is good and profitable. The added value of each variant of different herbs, namely curcuma is amounting to Rp24,854.42 per kg of raw material; turmeric is amounting to Rp25,351.27 per kg of raw material, kencur of Rp12,352.29 per kg of raw material, and ginger in the amount of Rp21,853.94 per kg of raw material.Key words: added value, herbal powder, production performanc

    Abstract:

    The purposes of this research were to analyze the performance of cassava chips Agroindustry reviewed from procurement of raw materials, labor productivity, production capacity, product quality, delivery speed, flexibility, and added value and income.  The research used was a survey method.   Research data collection was carried out in March 2019 in Gedong Tataan Subdistrict with the consideration that agro-industries were actively producing continuously and had the potency to be developed.  The research locations were in three villages of cassava chips agro-industry centers, namely Karang Anyar Village, Bagelen Village, and Sungai Langka Village.  Respondents were 14 cassava chips agro-industries.  Raw material procurement, product quality, delivery speed, and flexibility were analyzed qualitatively descriptively.  Productivity, production capacity, and income were analyzed quantitatively.  Added value is analyzed using the Hayami method.  The results showed that the procurement of raw cassava chips was correct in the type and quantity, while it was not correct in place.  The average of productivity per month was 41.65 kg / HOK and the average of production capacity per month was 79%.  Product quality and delivery speed were good enough, and flexibility was not optimal.  The Agroindustry had a positive added value, profit with R/C>1, and the average of income per month of IDR 7,613,146.29.Key words: Agroindustry, cassava chips, performanc

    Abstract:

    This study aims to analyze profitability and added value of catfish processing products. This research is case studies on La Tansa, Oseri and Osta Food Agroindustry for the reason of that catfish processing products are one of the regional superior products in Metro City. The study was conducted in February-March 2018 in which data was analyzed by quantitative analysis.  The results showed that profitability ratios obtained by La Tansa Agroindustry was 48.27% in abalone catfish products and 23.58% in catfish bone crackers products.  Whereas the profitability ratios of Agroindustry Oseri amounted to 51.14% in abalone catfish products and 34.62% in catfish bone crackers products.  The revenue from the total cost per month in La Tansa Agroindustry was Rp2,174,546.67 on abalone catfish products and Rp518,161.67 in catfish bone crackers products. Whereas, Agroindustry Oseri Rp5,617,646.62 on abalone catfish products and Rp2,188,286.71 on catfish bone crackers products.  Both Agroindustry were feasible because they had positive added value and were profitable because the R / C ratio was more than one.  Key words : added value, agroindustries, catfish, profitabilit

The research location is chosen purposively in Punggur Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency, with the consideration that Punggur Subdistrict has the highest number of tempe producers in Central Lampung Regency. The samples were chosen by accidental sampling method in three villages. The number of respondents are 42 respondents. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data.   • Supply Chain Sustainability Assessment System Based on Supervised Machine Learning Techniques: The Case for Sugarcane Agroindustry

    Abstract:

    Addressing all aspects of sustainability with a single assessment method is challenging. Machine learning techniques for assessing the sustainability of the supply chain in sugar cane Agroindustry are discussed in this paper. Sugar cane Agroindustry involves a complex supply chain from upstream to downstream consisted of multi-stakeholders with different goals. A system of supply chain sustainability assessment based on supervised machine learning techniques, namely Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Decision Tree was designed to assess the sustainability of the supply chain concerning three indicators, (economic, societal, and environmental indicators). The application of the system showed that ANN can be applied to predict the values of the three sustainability dimensions based on sustainability indicators and produce rational results with small errors. The prediction results of the sustainability dimension using ANN are used to determine the level of sustainability using the decision tree classification model. The classification accuracy obtained is 86%.

    Abstract:

    The development of fresh-cut vegetable Agroindustry is a complicated case because it does not just involve production process, but it also involves various sustainability aspects. Therefore, it needs a data analysis method, namely Analytical Network Process Benefits Opportunities Costs Risks (ANP BOCR) by green productivity approach which applies environmentally friendly principle. The research aimed to determine priority strategy for increasing sustainability of fresh-cut vegetabe Agroindustry. According to ANP BOCR method, there were four criteria which influence sustainability of fresh-cut vegetable, namely environment, technology, contract farming, and economy.  The economy was the most dominant criteria. For increasing the sustainability of fresh-cut vegetable Agroindustry, the best strategy  was contract farming. It was appropriate with the three most influential subcriteria i.e. the increase of contract farmers’ skill by farmer group, the increase of contract farmers’ use, and the increase of company profit. The application of contract farming strategy is the movement of contract farming area to certain area located near the location of fresh-cut vegetable Agroindustry and the accompaniment of contract farmer sustainably. The excellence of this research was the characteristic of strategic effect which means the application of strategy will give some impacts, namely decrease the carbon emission, the cost of transportation, and the defect of vegetable supply. By moving contract farming area to certain area located near the location of fresh-cut vegetable Agroindustry,the accompaniment of contract farmer sustainably for increasing the contract farmers’ skill in applying Good Agriculture Practice and Good Handling Practice will run intensively.Keywords: ANP BOCR, fresh-cut vegetables, green productivity, sustainabilit

    Abstract:

    The decision making improvement to enhance downstreaming in palm oil Agroindustry is needed due to limited variety of infrastructures and their available market. Based on the fact, it requires correct labelling with multi attributes of an integrated sustainable palm oil downstreaming process of palm oil Agroindustry in effort to support appropriate decision in downstreaming palm oil in the whole. In this paper, the result of business process model notation (BMPN) shows that the downstreaming decision form quantitave multilabel classification. The multilabel dimensions consists of technology availability, export taxes, competitive advantage, and product cost attributes. This research main contribution is to produce an integrated decision making rule using the multilabel decision tree or known as Bayesian Chain Classifiers (BCC) method that can classify the palm oil downstream decisions represented as a descriptive model. The result of downstreaming decision making model is obtained by considering four downstream aspects that are classified into multilabel objective and generate selected 11 appropriate decision rules from 139 datasets to provide available alternatives comprehensively for decision making. The rules performance shows an adequate accuracy but good precision, concluding that the approach suit to improve the downstreaming decision.
