  • logistics service quantity discount return Subcontract model
    Industrial Engineering and Management, 2006
    Co-Authors: Tian Yu
    Abstract:

This paper considers the problem of coordination mechanism between third-party logistics supplier and Subcontractor.Comparing with the return contract opinion which focuses on optimization from the third-party logistics supplier,s perspective proposed by Alfredsson M,a three-stage logistics service quantity discount—return Subcontract model is proposed from the Subcontractor,s perspective which is composed by return contract models, subgame Nash-perfect equilibrium model and quantity discount—return model, comparing them with the initial model gradually,it is demonstrated that Pareto efficiency can be attained in the model and the scenarios are illustrated through a numerical example.

  • quality game behavior in thirdparty logistics service Subcontract management
    Management Sciences in China, 2006
    Co-Authors: Tian Yu
    Abstract:

This paper analyzes the problem of controlling the Subcontractor service quality, making it accordance with the quality standard of thirdparty logistics service demander, proposes the thirdparty logistics service quality Subcontract models of Nash equilibrium model, Stackelberg equilibrium game and Cooperate game, which focus on the quality policy made by the thirdparty logistics supplier and Subcontractor. After the comparison of these three game models, the paper concludes that thirdparty logistics provider prefer to the Stackelberg equilibrium model, while Subcontractor would rather choose the Stackelberg equilibrium model than the Nash equilibrium model just on some conditions; meanwhile, the quality investment under the Cooperate game model is greater than that is under the Stackelberg equilibrium model, but it is less than that is under the Nash equilibrium model on some conditions.

  • research on third party logistics Subcontract design based on stackelberg game being nash equilibrium
Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, 2005
    Co-Authors: Tian Yu
    Abstract:

The research theme of this paper is about how third-party logistics provider design a kind of effective incentive mechanism which can not only avoid the moral hazard behavior of the Subcontractor, but also promote Subcontractor to raise the serving performance constantly, until obtaining the best TPL performance. This paper through building Stackelberg game model where constructing the Nash equilibrium model assuming Subcontract decision variable as endogenetic variable firsts:and then analysis the optimal solution with the restraint of Nash equilibrium at the time of decision variable as exogenous variable, pushes the Subcontract relationship research at the principal-agent level into the lay that principal-agent combining with whole contract performance optimal decision.

  • research on third party logistics Subcontract design facing screening
    Soft science, 2004
    Co-Authors: Tian Yu
    Abstract:

By analyzing the relation between Subcontract parameter, the author finds that the Subcontract offered to the Subcontractor with capability does not include any penalty scheme, neither does a gain-share scheme. However, the contract offered to the Subcontractor with high capability includes either a penalty scheme or a gain-sharing scheme. Furthermore, the more attractive the gain sharing scheme, the less the initial remuneration and vice versa.

2010 The 2nd International Conference on Industrial Mechatronics and Automation, 2010
Co-Authors: Jiang Zhiqiang, Feng Xilan, Feng Xianzhang, Shi Jinfa
    Abstract:

Aviation Subcontract production (SP), the particular manufacturing mode of aeronautical manufacturing enterprise (AME), is an important approach and instrumentality participated in international market competition. In this paper, a Web-based approach of remote cooperative production scheduling and control (CPSC) in distributed network manufacturing for Subcontract production is proposed, and an implement framework on remote CPSC over Internet is accomplished. As a result, this study on the remote CPSC over Internet in distributed network manufacturing for SP is important for advancing the technical ability of aviation manufacturing, enhancing the manufacturing strength, and promoting the management level of the aeronautical SP, and a prospective and specific sample model with manufactures in decentralized network and integrated product development and manufacturing.

  • Subcontract a flexible base for distributed programming
Symposium on Operating Systems Principles, 1994
Co-Authors: Graham Hamilton, Michael L Powell, James G Mitchell
    Abstract:

A key problem in operating systems is permitting the orderly introduction of new properties and new implementation techniques. We describe a mechanism, Subcontract, that within the context of an object-oriented distributed system permits application programmers control over fundamental object mechanisms. This allows programmers to define new object communication mechanisms without modifying the base system. We describe how new Subcontracts can be introduced as alternative communication mechanisms in the place of existing Subcontracts. We also briefly describe some of the uses we have made of the Subcontract mechanism to support caching, crash recovery, and replication.

  • A Fuzzy AHP Approach to the Evaluation of PCM Model Based on PFSC in Aeronautical Subcontract Production
2009 Second International Workshop on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, 2009
    Co-Authors: Zhiqiang Jiang, Xilan Feng
    Abstract:

The definitions of complex product configuration management (PCM) for aeronautical Subcontract production are introduced. A product functions and structure components (PFSC) oriented information model on product configuration template (PCT) is accomplished, in which rapidly responds to the customers' configuration requirement. And also, a fuzzy AHP method to the evaluation on PCT of PCM model in Aero-SP is proposed, and an illustrative case study is applied to demonstrate its practicability and effectiveness in the development of aero engine of advanced regional jet for 21st century (ARJ21), in which satisfied the customer's requirement (CR) with individuation and diversification.

    Co-Authors: Zhiqiang Jiang, Xilan Feng
    Abstract:

A customer's requirement (CR)-oriented study of product configuration management (PCM) information model based on PFSC for aeronautical Subcontract production is brought forward. And a uniform product configuration model is formulated. Also, a PCT-based information model of PCM by self-organizing mapping, which in the relative matrix of customer's requirement characteristics and the functions principle property of PFSC, is formulated. And the solving strategy on PCT info model that rapidly responding the product configuration is accomplished. Lastly, a modularized design technique for the PCC development of ARJ21 is presented, and satisfied the CR on individuation and diversification.
